Aggie Engineer wins at Hollywood Park

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Aggie Engineer defeated Sky Cape by 214 lengths and snapped a six-race losing streak, winning the $48,400 feature at the Oak Tree meet at Hollywood Park on Friday.

Ridden by Joe Talamo, Aggie Engineer covered 1 1-16 miles on the synthetic Cushion Track in 1:42.18 and paid $4.60, $2.80 and $2.20.

Sky Cape paid $5.80 and $4.80 as the 7-1 fourth choice, while No Inflation paid $2.80 to show.

The victory increased Aggie Engineer’s earnings to $208,280.
