The Columbian
Published: October 29, 2010, 12:00am

When, where: 7 p.m. Friday, Fishback Stadium, Washougal HS

Records: Hockinson (1-7, 1-2); Washougal (4-4, 1-2); 2A GSHL league game

Game notes: Hockinson has won the last three meetings between the teams, including a 9-3 win in triple overtime last year. … The Hawks earned their first win of the season when freshman QB Jess Krahn drove the team 75 yards for the game-winning TD in the final minute of a 14-10 victory. … Washougal also pulled out a close win over Woodland on Oct. 15 on a last-minute touchdown. … Washougal opened the season 3-1, and has been competitive in most games this season. … Washougal QB Colton Sullivan has connected with Sam O’Hara 36 times for 557 yards and 5 TDs.

The Columbian’s take: Hockinson got a big boost for a young team last week. To finish with back-to-back wins would be huge. But the Panthers have a bit more experience. PICK: Washougal
