NEW YORK (AP) — Midnight Visit beat Those Lion Eyes by a half length Sunday in the $60,000 Love Is Eternal Stakes at Aqueduct for 3-year-old fillies bred in New York.
Midnight Visit is unbeaten in three races at the six-furlong distance. The time was 1:11.40 on the fast track with Mike Luzzi aboard for trainer Todd Pletcher.
Midnight Visit’s lone defeat came her last time out, a third in Aqueduct’s Proud Puppy Stakes at one mile, 70 yards.
The 4-5 favorite, Midnight Visit paid $3.60, $2.90 and $2.30. Those Lion Eyes returned $7.60 and $4.50, while Jackie Mo paid $4.30 to show.
