BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich is scheduled to speak Sunday to peace activists at the Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action near Poulsbo.

The Kitsap Sun reports (http://bit.ly/pXjrev ) the gathering is the annual commemoration of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that ended the war with Japan. The center is near the submarine base at Bangor for Trident submarines, which carry nuclear missiles.

Kucinich may lose his seat in Congress due to Ohio’s declining population and is considering moving to Washington, which is gaining a seat.
