Letter: Firefighters fulfilled a good cause

The Columbian
Published: August 21, 2011, 5:00pm

It’s a sad day in Clark County to call the brave men and women firefighters aggressive panhandlers. An Aug. 10 story reported “Fill the Boot event hobbled: Complaints, city law force fundraiser out of Vancouver limits.” Shame on politicians and their narrow-minded opinions of some of the bravest people taking care of the residents of Clark County.

The firefighters were all missed this year inside the Vancouver city limits.
