It’s likely that everyone is singing a collective bar of “Rain, Rain, Go Away” by now.

And, according to the National Weather Service, it should by the weekend.

Clark County residents woke today to a wet morning, one of several unseasonably rainy days this July. Forecasters predict the rain to gradually decrease by lunchtime, giving way to partly sunny skies. Expect a high of 67.

Friday should return to the 70s, according to the National Weather Service, and the weekend is expected to be — gasp! — in the 80s.
