ManorCare opens facility with flag raising

Salmon Creek — ManorCare Health Services held a flag raising ceremony June 14 to celebrate the opening of its new facility in Salmon Creek, 2811 N.E. 139th St. Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars performed the ceremony. Some 60 guests, including members of Fire District 6 and American Medical Response, attended. ManorCare, located next to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, is a skilled nursing facility where short-term patients can transition from hospital to home.
