Clark County’s second Trader Joe’s grocery store, at 14007 N.E. 10th Ave. in Salmon Creek, will open May 2.

A brief ribbon-cutting event will occur shortly before doors open at 8 a.m. The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

The 10,000-square-foot store is in the new Skyview Station at the corner of Northeast 10th and 139th avenues. Store management hired 75 employees and is transferring an additional 25 from other local Trader Joe’s stores.

The California grocer will donate all of its unsold but still-usable products to a range of nonprofit and community organizations.
