Hearthwood — There will be quite a few more reading choices for students at Hearthwood Elementary School thanks to a grant from Target. The school received a $500 grant to purchase books for the school library. The new assortment of books arrived at the school last week. The grant was made possible through a partnership between Target and FirstBook, a nonprofit that promotes literacy. The program encourages partnerships between local businesses and schools in need.
