Long-shot Times Gone By wins Santa Anita feature

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Long-shot Times Gone By cruised to a 234-length victory over clear favorite Utopian on Sunday in the $50,614 feature race at San Anita.

The 7-year-old Times Gone By, ridden by Martin Pedroza, ran 1 1-8 miles in 1:46.52.

A chestnut son of Giant’s Causeway trained by Julio Canani, Times Gone By earned $28,800 for the victory and paid $26, $8.80 and $5.60. Utopian returned $4.60 and $3.40, and Antidote paid $4 to show.
