LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas offensive coordinator Garrick McGee didn’t like what he saw from quarterback Tyler Wilson at halftime.

Wilson had concussionlike symptoms and was sent to sidelines in the second half. The junior had thrown for 259 yards in the first half.

Wilson’s absence wasn’t enough to slow No. 14 Arkansas (2-0). The Razorbacks routed New Mexico (0-2) 52-3, but the victory came at a cost.

In addition to Wilson, defensive end Jake Bequette left the game in the first half with a hamstring injury. Receiver Jarius Wright was sidelined in the second half with a knee sprain.

Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino expects Wilson to return next week against Troy. He’ll be needed for sure when the Razorbacks open Southeastern Conference play at Alabama in two weeks.
