Paving work will cause three separate overnight lane closures on Interstate 5 in Oregon this week, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

On Wednesday night, the center and right northbound lanes of I-5 will close near North Killingsworth Street, North Rosa Parks Way and North Lombard Street in Portland. The closure, lasting from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday, will also close several ramps on and off those streets. Southbound traffic will not be affected.

On Thursday, the left and center southbound lanes of I-5 will close on a nearly two-mile stretch directly south of the Interstate Bridge. That closure will last from 8 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday. Drivers will still have full access to Hayden Island, according to ODOT.

Crews will close all lanes of southbound I-5 below Interstate 405 from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday. Southbound traffic will be routed onto I-405 during that closure.
