Glenwood — Glenwood Heights Primary School participated in a fundraiser for cancer research called Pasta for Pennies. Students at Glenwood collected more than $4,800 in spare change over a three-week period, making them one of the top fundraising schools from Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Southwest Washington. The fundraiser is an annual event presented by Olive Garden to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Mary Chaco’s third-grade class and Lily Martin’s second-grade class raised the most money. Both classes received a pasta party from the Olive Garden Restaurant.
