Letter: Cartoon too demeaning

The Columbian
Published: April 21, 2012, 5:00pm

The political bias of The Columbian has always been obvious in its left bent, but intelligent readers can usually assimilate most of it as characteristic Democratic trash talk and get a laugh or two from it.

However, publishing John Cole’s editorial cartoon on April 16, depicting Mitt and Ann Romney being demeaned for her being a “stay-at-home mom” in a variety of houses reached an all-time low for this longtime subscriber.

Come on, The Columbian is better than this.
