Boys basketball: Evergreen 68, Fort Vancouver 63

Robert Franks scored 23 points and the host Plainsmen held off the Trappers.

Evergreen (2-2) led most of the way after outscoring Fort Vancouver 21-14 in the first quarter. Nine players scored for the Plainsman, including 15 points for Jalen Ballard. Evergreen’s Jahmil Johnson scored four points in his first action of the season because of an ankle sprain.

Deonte Hawkins scored 15 points for Fort Vancouver and Matt Delisle added 13.
