INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — No. 1 Indiana will have a new look Saturday against in-state rival Butler.

Forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea and center Peter Jurkin are expected to make their college debuts after serving NCAA-imposed nine-game suspensions. The return of the two freshmen couldn’t come at a better time.

Indiana (9-0) lost sophomore forward Austin Etherington with a season-ending fractured left kneecap last weekend and is still without senior forward Derek Elston.

Butler (7-2) is looking for its first win in three tries against a No. 1 team. The Bulldogs last faced the nation’s top-ranked team in 1980. Butler has beaten three power-conference schools this season.

Saturday’s second game at the Crossroads Classic, a doubleheader among the state’s four biggest schools, features No. 22 Notre Dame and Purdue, who last met in 1966.
