Girls basketball: Centralia 56, Hockinson 50

The host Tigers had three players score in double figures on Saturday and held off a four-quarter rally from the Hawks.

Katelyn McGuire had 21 points, 13 rebounds and five steals to lead Hockinson (3-3). The Hawks cut a nine-point deficit to four points in the fourth quarter, but did not convert chances to get closer.

Brianna Curtis had seven rebounds and eight steals for Hockinson.
