Tabb leads Alabama A&M over Missouri State 59-47

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Demarquelle Tabb posted 16 points and 14 rebounds and Alabama A&M handed Missouri State its seventh straight loss, beating the Bears 59-47 Tuesday night.

Jeremy Crutcher had 12 points, Brandon Ellis came off the bench for 10 and Justan Banks pulled down 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs, who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Alabama A&M (3-6) trailed 25-24 at intermission but used a 17-4 run over the first 5:15 of the second half to jump ahead 41-29. The Bulldogs extended their lead to 58-43 behind a Tabb layup with 2:07 left to play.

The Bulldogs held a 39-23 rebounding advantage and dished out 15 assists compared to just eight for Missouri State.

Alabama A&M committed a season-low eight turnovers.

Marshall Marcus led Missouri State (2-9) with 16 points but was the long Bear in double figures. The 6-foot-3 freshman has hit double-figures in six games this season.
