Emergency pavement repairs on Interstate 5 will cause southbound lane closures near Woodland on Thursday evening, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays.

Crews will work on the southbound side of the North Fork Lewis River Bridge, just south of Woodland, from 6 p.m. to midnight Thursday, according to WSDOT. The repairs will close the left lane from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., then the left and middle lanes from 8 p.m. to midnight.

WSDOT urged motorists to give themselves extra time to get through the area Thursday evening, and use caution in the construction zone.
