SEATTLE (AP) — Forecasters are telling residents of the Puget Sound lowland not to worry too much about Tuesday morning’s snow showers.
The National Weather Service says accumulations in spots won’t be more than an inch or 2 before the sun comes out Tuesday afternoon and temperatures rise into the 40s.
Forecasters expect sunny skies for the next couple of days with highs reaching the lower 60s Thursday. Clouds and the chance of rain return Friday for the weekend.
In Eastern Washington, forecasters say the chance of snow showers gives way Tuesday to sunshine. Clear skies should prevail through Thursday, but temperatures will remain cold, with lows below freezing. Clouds and the chance of rain or snow showers return Friday.
