Wright leads George Mason past Quinnipiac 74-58

ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands (AP) — Sherrod Wright scored 14 points and Anali Okoloji added 12 to help George Mason to a 74-58 victory over Quinnipiac at the Paradise Jam.

Erik Copes and Vertrail Vaughns each added nine points apiece for George Mason (3-2), which had lost to New Mexico the night before on a last-second shot.

Dave Johnson scored 12 points and Zaid Hearst 11 for Quinnipiac (2-3). The Bobcats nearly upset in-state rival Connecticut the night before but lost in double overtime.
