A used oil collection site located at the Shell station at 404 N.E. 78th St., in Hazel Dell, will close at the end of the month.

The site collected more than 52,000 gallons of used oil since the service began in 1993.

Clark County is reminding people not to dump used oil, but to dispose of it through curbside recycling or at one of the county’s transfer stations.

O’Reilly Auto Parts locations across Clark County also accept used oil.

For more information, go to the county website or call environmental services at 360-397-2121 ext. 4352.
