SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Chargers have taken California cornerback Steve Williams with the 145th pick overall in the NFL draft.
He is the second Golden Bears player picked by the Chargers, joining wide receiver Keenan Allen in the third round.
Williams is just under 5-foot-9 but ran a 4.37 40 at the combine. He had three interceptions last year.
