SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — Go Unbridled took control near the sixteenth pole and drew away to a 2 12-length win in the $150,000 Saratoga Dew Stakes for fillies and mares bred in New York on Monday at Saratoga Race Course.
The 6-year-old mare ran 1 1/8 miles in 1:51.60 and earned $90,000 for owner Howard Whitebread. She was ridden by Junior Alvarado and trained by Allen Jerkens. Go Unbridled paid $8.60, $4.10 and $2.90. Runner-up Lady on the Run paid $4.80 and 2.50. Mischief Maker, third of seven, paid $2.50 to show.
