CRC opponents to speak at public forum

The Columbian
Published: February 21, 2013, 4:00pm

A citizen group next week will host a public forum on the Columbia River Crossing at Vancouver’s Skyview High School.

The CRC Facts Forum will include a panel of three critics of the project: Vancouver forensic accountant Tiffany Couch, Portland economist Joe Cortright, and John Charles, president of the Oregon-based Cascade Policy Institute.

The $3.5 billion CRC would replace the Interstate 5 Bridge, extend light rail into Vancouver and rebuild the freeway on both sides of the Columbia River. The forum begins at 7 p.m. Monday at Skyview High School, 1300 N.W. 139th St.
