NEW YORK (AP) — Villanesca rallied to beat Clear Pasaj by 134 lengths on Friday in the $64,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
Eddie Castro guided the 4-year-old chestnut trained by Kiaran McLaughlin to her third win in six starts. The time was 1:11 for the six furlongs.
Villanesca paid $14.40, $6.90 and $3.90. Clear Pasaj returned $5.20 and $3.30 while Centrique, the 5-2 favorite, paid $2.50 to show.
