Girls basketball: Woodland 56, Hockinson 42

Jessica Flanagan made six 3-pointers for her 18 points, and the Beavers jumped out to a huge lead early to put away the Hawks.

Madison Sorensen added 11 points and Sidra Malik scored 10 for the Beavers.

Katelyn McGuire led Hockinson with 17 points and nine rebounds. Kelsey Dunham had six points, three assists, and four steals.

Flanagan made five of her team’s seven first-half 3-pointers. The Beavers led by 21 at the half. Flanagan also had six rebounds and four assists.

Gracie Trice had six assists and five steals for Woodland. Sorensen added six steals.
