Dance to Bristol wins Honorable Miss at Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — Heavily favored Dance to Bristol wore down Classic Point in deep stretch to win the $200,000 Honorable Miss Handicap for fillies and mares by a neck Monday at Saratoga Race Course.

The win was the sixth straight for the 4-year-old Dance to Bristol, who was ridden by Xavier Perez. The Ollie Figgins-trained filly ran 6 furlongs in 1:09.73 and paid $3.70, $2.90 and $2.40. Classic Point returned $8.30 and $6.30. Munnings Sister, third of seven, paid $6.30 to show. Dance to Bristol earned $120,000 for owner Susan H. Wantz.
