Vancouver gas prices continue to rise

Gasoline prices in Vancouver, the state of Washington and Oregon continued to rise last week, and now exceed the falling national average.

The weekly AAA Oregon/Idaho survey showed the price of regular unleaded gasoline in Vancouver at $3.81 per gallon, up from $3.75 a week ago. Washington’s average price was $3.79, also up six cents a gallon and now the 15th-highest average in the nation. Oregon’s statewide average was $3.79, a six cent increase. Portland’s average was a penny lower.

The national average dipped by four cents, to 3.74 per gallon
