Lower Columbia won its 17th and 18th consecutive baseball games Saturday, completing a four-game NWAACC West Division series sweep of Clark College.

The Red Devils took both games of a doubleheader from Clark on Saturday 5-0 and 3-1 at Kindsfather Field.

Clark (7-13, 0-4) had 14 hits in the four games against NWAACC No. 2-ranked LCC (18-2, 4-0), and LCC pitching coach D.J. Lidyard tweeted the LCC bullpen threw just 24 pitches over four games.

Clark was held to three hits in the first game Saturday, and ended a 24-inning scoreless stretch with a run in the sixth inning of the second game.

Clark was plagued by errors with eight on Saturday after committing seven on Friday in Longview. Lower Columbia was coming off a 6-5 and 1-0 sweep of Clark on Friday.

Clark returns to NWAACC play next weekend with four games against Tacoma.
