Vicki’s Dancer wins Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Vicki’s Dancer held off Spooky Kitten by three-quarters of a length Thursday in the $72,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf at Belmont Park.

Mike Luzzi rode the 4-year-old trained by Bruce Brown to her fourth win in 14 starts. The time was 1:08.87 for the six furlongs over the firm course.

Vicki’s Dancer paid $18.40, $8.90 and $3.90. Spooky Kitten returned $7.50 and $3.30, and Quiet Ending paid $2.20 to show as the 6-5 favorite.
