INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Wilkinson beat favorite Dubai You X Y Z by 112 lengths Thursday in the $62,250 feature at Betfair Hollywood Park.

Ridden by Martin Pedroza for trainer Jeff Mullins, Wilkinson took the lead after a half-mile in the field of six older horses and never yielded, covering 1 1/16 miles on the turf in 1:40.72 to snap a four-race losing streak.

The race was a return to the site of Wilkinson’s biggest victory, a 44-1 upset in the Grade 2 American Handicap last May.

The winner paid $5.40, $2.60 and $2.20. Dubai You X Y Z returned $2.60 and $2.20, and Temple’s Door paid $3.80 to show.

Wilkinson, a 5-year-old son of Lemon Drop Kid, has six victories in 23 starts with earnings of $407,998.
