Marinda wins Hollywood Park feature

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Marinda won the $56,074 feature by 114 lengths at Betfair Hollywood Park on Thursday for Hall of Fame trainer Richard Mandella.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Marinda ran a mile on the turf in 1:35.05 and paid $5.20, $4.40 and $3 as the 8-5 favorite in the field of 12.

Foxy Boss returned $15 and $9.40 at 18-1 odds, while Mandella-trained Dinvar Diva was another 112 lengths back in third and paid $6.60 to show.

Marinda has two wins in eight career starts and earnings of $112,910.

Bejarano won the eighth race on the card as he continues to lead the jockeys’ standings at the spring/summer meet.
