The awards honor individuals and organizations for their contributions to tourism and economic growth in Clark County. The three category award winners, nominated by their peers and selected by the tourism office, are:

• Tourism Ambassador Award: Cecily Leonhardt, a server at the Hudson’s Bar & Grill at The Heathman Lodge.

• Outstanding Tourism Professional Award: Colleen Potter, director of sales at The Heathman Lodge.

• Spirit of Tourism Award: The Kumoricon Anime Convention, known for its colorful costumes and the vibrant energy it brings to downtown Vancouver with its annual gathering.

Featured video interviews of the award recipients are online at the tourism office’s website, www.VisitVancouverUSA.com.
