The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the organization’s Donor Center, 5109 N.E. 82nd Ave. in Vancouver.

As a token of thanks, donors will receive a pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day, while supplies last.

Donors through Sunday also will receive a short-sleeved T-shirt.

Appointments are recommended. Call 1-800-RED-CROSS.

The American Red Cross provides about 40 percent of the nation’s blood, in addition to providing emergency services for victims of disasters and international humanitarian aid.
