Vancouver woman dies after vehicle crashes into tree in Camas

Cause of the crash is under investigation

A 57-year-old Vancouver women died Saturday morning from injuries sustained when her vehicle hit a tree in Camas.

Shortly before 8 a.m., the woman’s car, which was traveling east, veered south and left the roadway at the 4600 block of Pacific Rim Boulevard. The woman died from her injuries after she was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office traffic unit is helping the Camas Police Department investigate the crash.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and the woman’s name was not released by Camas police.
