A Vancouver man suspected of drunken driving was injured in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night.

Vitaliy I. Slivkov, 26, was driving a 2003 Toyota pickup east on state Highway 500 approaching St. Johns Boulevard about 9:30 p.m., according to Washington State Patrol.

Slivkov, who was allegedly speeding, lost control of the pickup and drove off the roadway, rolling the vehicle and coming to rest blocking two lanes of traffic, according to the state patrol.

Slivkov was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and discharged from the hospital on Monday.

Charges of speeding and driving under the influence of intoxicants are pending, according to state patrol.
