DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — Steve Glowiak scored 17 points to help Sacred Heart snap a six-game losing streak with a 66-53 win over New Hampshire on Saturday.

The Pioneers (3-12) took the lead midway through the second half on a Glowiak 3-pointer that made it 37-36 and triggered an 18-1 run that finally put the otherwise tight game out of reach.

De’von Barnett contributed 15 points and six rebounds, while Louis Montes added 12 points for Sacred Heart, which shot 47 percent from the field and was 7 of 15 from beyond the arc.

New Hampshire (2-11, 0-1 American East Conference) kept the game close, retaking the lead twice in the first half and again early in the second before Sacred Heart pulled away. The Wildcats have now lost 11 straight.

John Edwards led New Hampshire with 13 points and Jordon Bronner had 12.
