Girls basketball: Prairie 54, Kelso 37

Nicole Goecke had 15 points and 13 rebounds as the host Falcons beat Kelso, improving to 6-0 in the 3A Greater St. Helens League.

Prairie led by 12 at halftime. Five Falcons contributed seven or more points.

Goecke grabbed seven of her rebounds on the offensive end. Cherita Daugherty had five assists. Goecke and Jamie Phares each made four steals for Prairie (13-3 overall).

Loryn Musgrove and Kady Bruce each scored 10 points for Kelso (7-7, 2-3).
