Vancouver fitness equipment maker Core Health & Fitness is planning to invest $2 million to expand a Grayson County, Va., manufacturing plant, creating 250 jobs.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced plans Wednesday to expand the former Med-Fit operation that has made Nautilus fitness equipment for more than 34 years.

Core Health & Fitness says it will continue to make equipment for Nautilus Commercial, which is separate from Nautilus Inc., as well as other fitness equipment brands such as Star Trac and StairMaster.

The project received some funding from Virginia.
