Fire damaged a home Wednesday night in east Vancouver.

Just before 8 p.m., multiple people reported the fire at a house at 3614 N.E. 163rd Ave. They said flames were coming from the roof of the house, according to radio traffic monitored by The Columbian. Arriving Vancouver firefighters found smoke coming from under the eaves of the house and fire showing in a back bedroom. The crew extinguished the fire within about 10 minutes.

According to Clark County property records, the 1,300-square-foot ranch-style house is owned by Brent Alan Wachtman.

Additional information was not available at The Columbian’s press time.
