A Vancouver man was hospitalized Thursday evening after his car rolled on state Highway 14 in Vancouver.

James Ramirez, 30, was heading west in his Lexus RX300 and entered the ramp to Interstate 205 south when he lost control of the car, which rolled onto its top shortly before 7 p.m., according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn. Witnesses said Ramirez was trapped, but he was outside by the time emergency responders arrived, Finn said.

Ramirez was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
