The conditions of two men who were critically injured Sunday in two separate automobile crashes were upgraded Tuesday at PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center.

Gage J. Allyn was listed in serious condition Tuesday afternoon. Allyn, 24, of Vancouver, was driving a 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio two-door south on Southeast 164th Avenue heading to westbound state Highway 14 when the vehicle left the roadway, rolled and landed in a ditch just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Moses Morales, 26, of Vancouver also was listed in serious condition Tuesday afternoon at PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center. Morales was injured at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday. He was a passenger in a westbound Ford SUV that was stopped at a red light in the 5500 block of Northeast Padden Parkway, where it merges with 78th Street, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. The SUV was struck from behind by a Subaru. The drivers of both vehicles were treated and released from the hospital.
