Letter: Inflammatory bias evident

The Columbian
Published: March 3, 2015, 12:00am

The Columbian’s subscription to columnist Thomas Sowell’s views is unworthy of our paper. He has opted to pander to the most base of our community, as evidenced by the comments following his most recent column published in the National Review, and republished in The Columbian on Feb. 24: “Obama’s patriotism should have been questioned earlier.”

There is a distinction between provocative discourse and inflammatory blather, the latter an apt description of his column. I urge you to read what he has written before deciding to publish the same. Please consider these comments in considering this matter.
