WSU extension to host Small Acreage Expo

The Washington State University Clark County Extension will host its annual Small Acreage Expo next month in Vancouver.

The expo, now in its 10th year, offers workshops covering a variety of agricultural topics. Those include septic inspection certification, weed management, lime and fertilizer application, and pasture management.

The expo will also cover several new topics such as electric fence installation, renewable energy and rainwater harvesting, according to the extension.

The Small Acreage Expo is set for 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 11 at the 78th Street Heritage Farm, 1919 N.E. 78th St. in Vancouver.

Registration is $15 per person in advance and $25 on the day of the event.
