Letter: Expose political rules broken

The Columbian
Published: May 30, 2015, 12:00am

I have a love/hate relationship with editor Lou Brancaccio. I read his Press Talk column regularly, and sometimes I get annoyed with his comments. But, most of the time, he really, really has a point.

Only he can get away with pointing out the sleaziness of the Don Benton antics, as well as some of the other dirt going on at the city and county. Where is the accountability? Internally, that is — is everyone in the local governments playing the same game? Thanks, Brancaccio, for keeping us informed. If it wasn’t for him, we would just believe in butterflies and rainbows … maybe we would be better off.
