Motorcycle-ride fundraiser is Saturday

Hazel Dell — The Salvation Army is raising money through a motorcycle ride Saturday to purchase toys for children in need.

Vic Voltz started the charity ride in 1983. Now in his 80s, he still rides with his son Dan.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at Columbia Harley-Davidson, 1314 N.E. 102nd St. in Hazel Dell. The cost is $10 per rider. Motorcyclists will leave at 10 a.m. and be escorted by Clark County sheriff’s deputies to Living Hope Church, 2711 N.E. Andresen Blvd. Details: Don Voltz, 360-553-8018.
