The 38-year-old Stevenson woman who was fatally injured Saturday in a vehicle crash on state Highway 14 was identified by police Sunday morning as Rebekah S. Maggart.

A Washington State Patrol bulletin said Maggart was driving west at Milepost 21, east of Washougal, at 2:35 p.m. Saturday when her 2013 Jeep Wrangler went off the right side of the road. The bulletin said the driver overcorrected and lost control of the Jeep, which struck a guardrail on the opposite side of the road and overturned.

Maggart, who was thrown from the vehicle, was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center but was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the bulletin.

The WSP bulletin said the woman had not been using safety restraints.
