Prep Highlights: Gruher, Dobak both shoot 4-under 30s

Two days after winning the Jeff Hudson Invitational in a playoff holes, Union’s Ben Gruher was at it again.

And again, he had company.

Gruher shot a 4-under-par 30 at Fairway Village as the Titans beat Prairie and Mountain View.

Gruher was matched at 30 by teammated Max Dobak.

Stars of the day

• Brent Spencer, Battle Ground golf, shot a 1-over 36 at Cedars on Salmon Creek for medalist honors as the Tigers beat Heritage.

• Logan Moses, Ridgefield golf, was medalist with a 2-over 39 at Tri-Mountain as the Spudders beat Mark Morris 181-187.

• Clayton Rajewich, King’s Way Christian golf, was the medalist with a 37 at Oakridge as the Knights beat Montesano.

• MacKenzie Ellertson, King’s Way Christian soccer, scored three goals and assisted on one in a 5-0 win over Kalama.

• Mackenzie Haverlack, La Center soccer, had two goals and an assist in the Wildcats win over Columbia-White Salmon.

• Kayla Fredericks, Woodland volleyball, had 13 kills and seven digs in a win at Washougal.

• Madi Harter, Ridgefield volleyball, had 11 kills, two blocks and three aces a win over R.A. Long.

• Kari Staples, King’s Way Christian volleyball, had 15 kills in a win over W.F. West of Chehalis.
