Investigators at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office are asking the public to keep an eye out for a man sought in connection with a vehicle theft.

The sheriff’s office shared a surveillance video still of a man who earlier was seen getting out of a suspected stolen vehicle at the ARCO gas station at Northeast St. Johns Road and Northeast 78th Street on July 30. The vehicle was reported stolen July 29.

Sheriff’s Detective Jack Phane said he saw the man leave the car, then enter the store. When Phane tried approaching the man, he ran away, Phane said.

The sheriff’s office asked anyone who can help identify the man to contact Phane at 360-397-2211 ext. 5442 or jack.phane@clark.wa.gov
